About Me
Hi! My name is Kendra (she/her). I support adults, youth (14+), and couples by working through challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, ADHD, trauma, relationship conflict and more. Whether you prefer to meet in-person in Kelowna or online anywhere in BC, I’m here to help.
How I Can Support You - Individual Therapy
The experience of anxiety, depression, and trauma can lead to difficult emotions and shape the way you view yourself, your relationships, and world around you. While it’s natural to experience self-doubt and discomfort, these things can make it harder to move toward the life you want. I enjoy helping my clients explore the roots of their thoughts and behaviours so they can understand themselves better. Rather than feeling stuck in old patterns or seeking short-term relief, our work can focus on helping you build a more positive relationship with your thoughts, responding to emotions with compassion, and moving forward in a way that aligns with your values.
How I Can Support You - Couples Therapy
Whether you’re facing challenges within your relationship or looking to strengthen your connection with your partner, therapy can offer a supportive space to grow. In our work together, we might focus on improving communication, finding healthier, more effective ways to move through conflict, or deepening your connection and understanding of each other. I strive to provide a space where both partners feel heard and valued, while supporting you in building on your strengths as a couple and creating new patterns that foster a long-lasting, loving relationship.
My Approach to Counselling
The connection you share with your counsellor is likely to play a big role in your growthand success in therapy. It’s important to find someone you can be yourself with, and who shows up with the qualities that matter most to you. In my work, I show up as my true self—with energy, humour, thoughtfulness, patience, and compassion. I value open-communication, and won’t shy away from asking thought-provoking questions or challenging behaviours and beliefs to help you see things from a new perspective. I take the time to understand what matters most to you—your goals, values, and the challenges that may be holding you back.
